The artist’s approach for this mural, was to include colours that make up both the urban and natural surroundings of Lethbridge and brighten them up for a more vibrant growing downtown. In doing this, the artist hopes to engage the public with art that’s different yet familiar. The mural is inspired by a cross-cut of a cabbage. A creative perspective on something simple, yet beautiful. At first glance, the mural can be seen as alien and a bit psychedelic. Upon further speculation the work starts to feel more familiar, fun and organic.
