This artwork is based on prayer and growth and engages with the themes of Reconciliation through the desire to use art as a creative tool for communities. It represents walking in two worlds, staying balanced through prayer and positive action. There are traditional pictographic mountains with traditional ceremonial colours at the base as representation of our foundations and home. White circles come to represent both constellations and the stories we tell, as well as seeds which bring new life. Within the cloud that stems from the peace pipe are seven flowers for Treaty 7 as well as a blue bell flower for the Metis people.
