Casa Main Foyer Front Desk
The City of Lethbridge is inviting artists to participate in a three-stage public art competition. The selected artist will receive a commission to design, fabricate and install a reception desk for a new community art centre currently being constructed in downtown Lethbridge. The centre was designed using a community consultation process and is expected to maximize community access to the arts and enhance the development of arts programming. The mission statement of the Community Art Centre is: “A place where people develop community through learning, living and loving the arts”. The deadline to install the reception desk is October 15, 2012.
The competition is open to artists living in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Total budget for the Community Art Centre Reception Desk Project is $40,000.00.
