A Vessel In Between Two Places We’ve Never Been

In the urban landscape, one is under a constant assault of advertising and bold colour throughout the city. The artist aimed to capture this attention and reframe it by creating a piece that both blends into the environment of the busy street corner and yet stands out against its strong architectural lines. The piece is alive with movement, inviting the viewer to pause and become fully immersed in its vibrant world. Each layer was built up to create the illusion of a 3d texture that encourages the viewer to transcend the restrictions of the environment. The artist hopes the work will encourage the viewer to imagine a different world – one where the city is covered in art.
