City of Lethbridge Public Art Committee Seeks New Members

The City of Lethbridge Public Art Committee plays a crucial role in shaping our city’s cultural landscape. As stewards of the Public Art Master Plan, they provide leadership and support to the administrative team, ensuring that art continues to enrich our community.

Guided by the principles of Inclusivity, Accessibility, Sustainability, Diversity, Creativity, and Quality

The Committee is actively seeking up to three (3) new public members, with a special focus on practicing artists and BIPOC+-identifying individuals. If you’re passionate about art and community, this is your chance to contribute.

Commitment and Eligibility

Public members serve for a maximum of two consecutive two-year terms (up to four years). The Committee convenes approximately four times a year. To be eligible, you must be a Lethbridge resident, aged 18 or older. Virtual participation is an option for those with sustained ties to the region.

Don’t miss this opportunity! The deadline for applications is Monday, March 4, 2024. For more details, visit the City’s Public Art Policy, explore the Master Plan, and dive into the current Work Plan.  Links to all can be found below!
