Seeking New Art to Land at the Airport
Two new Calls for Artists have been announced for projects at the #YQL Airport in conjunction with a series of major renovations which will improve the customer experience and position the airport as a major driver of the regional economy.

The #YQL Airport Selfie Check-in Backdrop Call seeks concepts for vibrant and exciting designs which will serve as a playful backdrop that frames airport travelers who stop to “snap a selfie” and take home a memory of Lethbridge. Deadline: November 1 at 4:30pm

The Airport Land Acknowledgement and Territory Welcome Call is looking for an Indigenous artist to provide a highly visual, engaging, and distinctly Niitsitapi | Blackfoot welcome to travelers visiting or returning home to Sikóóhkotok | Lethbridge. Deadline: November 17 at 4:30pm
